No, since we have a large spread in what is sold on the site, we will not require traceable shipping. But if it is a more expensive item, we recommend that you book traceable shipping to have insurance against accidents or if the shipment gets lost.
If the person who wants to withdraw his bid still leads the auction, we need to get the approval of both parties to remove the bid, as the bid on Trader is always binding. Both parties must therefore contact our customer service. You can do it by clicking here .
We try our best to contact the buyer via email or phone having a nice dialogue with the buyer! If, despite both e-mail and telephone calls to the buyer, payment is not received, then order status will be “pending payment” in vendor order tab. Seller must not send product to the buyer and the transaction is therefore not completed.
As a buyer, you have the right to a commodity that is in accordance with what was promised in advance. As a seller, you have to deliver what is promised. If still buyer is not happy, then contact the buyer and find out why the buyer is not happy. Have a dialogue with the buyer and come up with a common solution that fits both.
If you have not received a bid or if the reservation price has not been reached, you can cancel the advertisement yourself via Vendor – Auction. As you hover on a particular active auction, you will see “Delete Permanently”. You can cancel the ad by clicking the delete permanently. If you have received a bid, we need to get both your and the highest bidder’s approval to close the ad. You can contact the highest bidder by clicking the maximum bidder in “Auction History”. Both you and the buyer must then submit your approval to our customer service.

- Make sure the shipping cost is reasonable. Do not try to make money on the freight, it does not benefit you or the buyer. Objects with high shipping costs receive fewer bids and ultimately a lower sales price.
Print terms such as free shipping and traceable shipping even in the ad’s item description, this will make your ad stand out in the crowd and attract buyers. - Buyers at Trader enjoy being able to choose from several different shipping modes. Want your ads to become popular – offer more than one shipping option.
- Do you have more than one ad on Trader? If one and the same buyer chooses to buy more items from you, it is good to offer shipping. Then you ship more than one purchased item in the same shipment and the buyer does not have to pay double shipping.

Click “Edit”, which you see at the below right of the ad in your vendor product tab. Make your changes and click save. You cannot change an auction that has been bid. Then you can make a text extension instead.
You may also be notified by email when the payment is completed, or you can see in order status in your vendor – order tab. There you have a list of all orders and their status. You ca click a particular to see order detail – order status, customer info etc. Until unless the customer has made payment, the order status will remain “payment pending” and you as seller must not send product until payment is made by the customers and status is change to “payment paid”.
When the order status is paid, it is time to book shipping and send the item. Once you have sent the item, it is always a good idea to contact the buyer and notify the buyer so that the buyer is included in the notes.

If you choose to use the Buy Now feature at your auction, your auction will, in addition to an exclamation price, also have a fixed price that you can choose to buy it for instead of bidding. Note that your Buy Now price disappears as soon as someone places a leading bid in the auction that meets the reservation price. Then the opportunity to buy the auction goes away at a fixed price and it becomes like a regular auction.
You can find buyer information via My Trader – Order. You can see a list of orders and click on the order. Then you can find buyer’s name, email address and phone number on the left side of the order general details.
In an auction, you place an exclamation price on your item and sell to the highest bidder. This way you always get the highest possible price for your item, since the price is determined by the demand. The auction ends when the time is up.
It is important that you package correctly so that your item reaches the buyer in full condition. All carriers more or less reject damages due to poor packaging.

- Choose a cardboard box or a padded bag that is slightly larger than the item you are sending, so that you can also fit with protective material (e.g., bubble wrap). Often you can buy a suitable packaging from the shipping suppliers, in some cases this is included in the price.
- Cover the item with bubble wrap, paper or other protective material so that it does not move and gets damaged in the carton.
- Use a wide tape when closing the carton. If the carton is worn, reinforce with tape where needed.
- Be sure to clearly indicate the recipient’s address on the carton. Also enter your return address. If you reuse a cardboard box, make sure no old address labels are on the package (be sure to cover all previous address information with a black pen).
- Please include a printed order confirmation in the package so that your buyer can check that the correct item has been shipped.
- Create opportunity for repeat business – place a business card where you thank the buyer for the deal.
Reservation price is the lowest amount you can imagine to sell an auction and it is a price that is hidden from bidders until someone bids. Should no bid reach the reservation price, the auction will end without a winner. The reservation price is mainly recommended to be used when selling more expensive goods.
A fixed price ad is an ad that only has a fixed price and you cannot bid on it, but you can only buy it directly. It is also not possible to choose how long a fixed price ad should be. It is always 30 days if it is not sold before then.
