Is it a positive judgment or a negative one?
- Negative judgment
- Positive review
You can revoke a negative review in two ways. The easiest way is to do it yourself via the “Joint withdrawal of reviews” function. You will find the feature through your review page. You can also contact our Customer Service for assistance removing a review that you have submitted.
As a rule, positive reviews are not removed. If both buyer and seller agree to remove a positive rating, it can be deleted. Both parties then need to contact our Customer Service and we will assist with the recall.
Trader has certain rules about what you can write in a review. The following may not be written in reviews and may result in a review being deleted:
- Personal or contact information
- Hate towards people
- Pornographic material
- Links, images or scripts
- Advertising for competing activities
Judgment score manipulation
You are not allowed, through your own or close relatives’ account, to accumulate false judgments and ratings in order to circumvent restrictions, or to affect one’s credibility as a seller. Making false purchases in order to sabotage a seller’s judgment score is also not allowed.
We can only remove a negative judgment if we receive approval from the person who submitted it, or that the review is in violation of our rules of review. Since we do not have access to the transactions after they have closed at Trader, we cannot decide on or receive another member.
To get in touch with the member you received a review from, you can use the contact information contained in the winning email that you previously received. The same information is also available through Vendor – Review.
To remove a positive judgment, we need approval from both parties to the deal.
Each member is responsible for the assessment they have submitted. A given judgment cannot be changed, neither the nature of the judgment nor the text of the judgment. However, it may be possible to delete the review altogether, read more under the question “How do I delete a review that I have submitted?”
The reputation system is there to create security when you buy and sell with us. After each completed transaction, both the seller and the buyer have the opportunity to submit a judgment to their counterparty. This allows other members to see how they handled their past business. Having good judgment statistics increases your chances of getting your items sold!
When you leave a review, you choose between a positive or negative review. You also have the opportunity to write a comment describing how you experienced the deal.
Having to leave a negative judgment is very rare and is done in cases where the deal ended very badly. For example, if you did not get contact / paid with your buyer or that you as a buyer did not get your item.
A comment / comment is an individual member’s personal opinion. It does not always reflect reality in an objective way.
- Leave an honest and sincere judgment. Keep in mind that the rating your counterparty will have will affect his or her future business.
- Be sure to judge the deal based on what the seller promised. If you leave a detailed appraisal, a satisfied buyer usually leaves fives in ratings, so be sure to rate the deal according to the item description and other information the seller provided.
- Do not leave a negative review before contacting the seller. Negative reviews are generally rare at Trader. These are mainly left when something has gone really wrong in the shop, e.g. if you did not receive your item or that the item did not match the seller’s description at all. Contacting your counterparty before leaving a negative judgment is of the utmost importance, often you can find a solution together.
