Explosive Objects and Chemicals
Sales of hazardous and dangerous goods are carefully regulated. Some goods may not be shipped with Pakistan Postal service or other transport companies. Therefore, there are restrictions on the sale of this type of item on Trader Pakistan.
Permitted Items
- Engine oil
- Matches
Allowed With Restrictions
- Gas stove as long as the gas is not included
- Fire extinguishers as long as they do not contain carbon tetrachloride or are glass fire extinguishers and brass fire extinguishers with a handle shaped like a “T”
- Objects containing mercury need to comply with the chemicals inspection directive
- Jewelry or jewelry accessories containing nickel, cadium or lead as long as they comply with Law directives that exist
Unauthorized Items
- Gas, kerosene and other flammable substances
- Empty gas tanks
- Fireworks and pyrotechnic devices
- Flares, sparklers, light rockets
- Gasoline and other fuels
- An unmounted airbag, steering wheel with airbag, belt tensioner, gas generators for airbags and triggered airbags
- Objects containing chemicals that do not comply with Pakistani law
Reason For The Rule
Trade and import of hazardous chemicals is prohibited or regulated by Pakistani legislation, so it is not allowed to sell such products on Trader Pakistan.

Many transport companies limit the possibility of carrying items that are explosive or flammable. It may therefore be prohibited to sell certain such items on Trader Pakistan.
