Pre-sale and Dropshipping
In order to sell an ad on Trader Pakistan, the item needs to be in the seller’s possession.
Permitted Items
- To sell an item that you own or have
- To sell a movie, a game or music before the official launch date has been international but not in Pakistan
Unauthorized Items
- Selling items that you order afterwards (so-called dropshipping)
- To sell a movie, a game or music before the official launch date
- To offer advance bookings of an item
Reason For The Rule
In order to prevent events that make the sale impossible to complete, we want to maximize the chance of a successful sale.

Pre-sale or so-called dropshipping means that a seller places an ad that you do not currently own. Often it is a matter of placing an advertisement and after the purchase, the goods are ordered from a retailer, directly to the buyer’s address. The reason we have regulations on pre-sales is because the risk of dissatisfaction and missing deliveries increases.
