Do not Disclose Information to Unauthorized Persons!

Thanks to the increased security at Trader Pakistan in recent years, a person with a dishonest intention cannot commit fraud. You have the opportunity to protect yourself by being careful with your personal codes, passwords and Bank ID.

Here are some examples of how a fraudster can communicate with you to try to deceive you with your personal information.

Payment
You who sell at Trader Pakistan with an integrated payment method (Trader payment/easypaisa) never have to do anything for the buyer to be able to pay. Trader automatically gives the buyer the opportunity to pay via the website or mobile payment methods.

Bank ID
Trader Pakistan only asks you to verify with Bank ID when you perform an action on the website yourself. This can happen when you are uploading an ad, trying to reset your password or changing your account number for Trader Payment. If you have not initiated such a measure yourself, never carry out a verification with Bank ID against Trader Pakistan!

If you disclose your password, an SMS code or carry out an unexpected Bank ID verification, there is a risk that a fraudster is trying to access your account or information.

Tips to protect yourself:

  • Never give out your personal codes or passwords.
  • Never use Bank ID at the request of anyone who contacts you.
  • If someone wants you to take action quickly, it is often a sign that something is wrong. Instead, wait a while and contact Trader’s Customer Service if you are unsure.
  • If you get hit – always report the police. Report both fraud attempts and fraud.
